THE DROP
CONCEPT: The Pulse of Anticipation
The drop is my rebrand of the UK electronic music publication DJ magazine. The goal was to modernise DJ mags outdated brand identity and bring it closer in line with the exciting new era of dance music we live in. The concept is driven by the heart of what makes electronic music special, rhythm, build up and anticipation. This relates again to DJ magazine's format, thinking about the excitement of physical media (i.e hearing a vinyl for the first time).
